Review of the Lovense Lush 3

There are many toys that you can connect to the internet and have controlled by someone else. The first generation of these was always clunky. It has taken quite a few years until the Bluetooth connection between toy and phone was stable and even longer before there was a viable app to connect the vibrator worldwide. Seeing Lovense‘s popularity worldwide, you could say they have succeeded with their Lush product. In fact, you might say they have won the market, at least in 2020/2021.
I like to make up my own mind about products. I’m not one to follow the masses. And so, I began testing the Lush 3 with an open mind. Just because the whole world loves this product doesn’t mean I should. Or should I?

Packaging and Description

The Lush 3 comes in a small white box with a picture of the toy on the front. I live Lovense’s slogan: ‘Sex Tech For Every Bedroom.’ The main features they point out on the back of the box are:

• 1-year warranty

They describe the toy as a Bluetooth remote-controlled egg vibrator.
The package includes a storage bag, a quick setup guide, a user manual, a USB charging cable and the Lush 3. The charging cable is magnetical and connects to two connectors on the toy’s tail. I like how the connectors are installed on the part that doesn’t go inside of you. It doesn’t matter if it becomes wet, but I prefer it when that only happens while cleaning instead of every use. The Lush itself is bright pink, which I love, and is made of body-safe silicone. The egg’s string is flexible but still sturdy enough to be useful. It feels like a quality product, instead of those I have seen in other products. The egg itself looks and feels quite large.

I have only one word for the connection with the app, or apps I should say: perfect. Via Bluetooth, the connection is instant. There are two apps to connect your Lush 3 with your smartphone: Lovense Remote and Lovense Connect. The Lovense Remote app is for your average home and garden use if I can call it that. It can be used as a remote for the Lush; you can choose your patterns, you can use it as an alarm, or you can let it respond to sound.
When you connect the Lovense Remote app to Spotify Premium, you can let the Lush buzz in the same rhythm as the music you’re listening to. I tested this thoroughly for EasyToys, and I really loved this feature. It’s one you often see in Bluetooth connected toys, but never before had I gotten it to work so flawlessly as with the Lush. And the implementation itself was terrific. I don’t know what they did, but the buzzes matched the music perfectly. It was really worth it.
The Lovense Connect app can be used if you want to connect your Lush to a website and let others control your toy, like a chat site or a website like Chaturbate.com. On the last site, visitors can tip the webcam models and have the toy vibrate for a certain amount of time.

My Experience

Like I said, I don’t want to assume a vibrator is great, just because everyone else thinks so, but this toy: it’s good. I’ve used it before in this review, but this vibrator is perfect!
The connection with Spotify was instant, and when I listened to one of my favourite songs by Oomph! I was blown away by the intensity of the orgasm. Instead of coming up with a fantasy and slowly building towards an orgasm, this time was different. I only focused on the music and the singer’s voice, and before I knew it, an intense orgasm came over me like a crashing wave. This was completely unexpected. I’m not often surprised by a toy.
My husband and I also used the vibrator together with him handling the controls, which was just as impressive.
The vibrations are deep and can be considered too intense for some, but I loved every minute of it.

Conclusion

To answer my question in the beginning: yes, I should love the Lush 3 by Lovense. I understand why they have taken over the market and have become the number one Bluetooth remote-controlled egg vibrator. The Bluetooth connection works flawlessly, the vibrator itself feels and functions well, and it’s effortless to reach an orgasm with this toy. I guess the only downside is the price. It costs quite a bit which can be an investment. Years ago, I would have advised against paying this much money for a Bluetooth controlled device, but not for this one. The Lush 3 by Lovense actually does what can be expected. So if you do have the money and are looking for a toy like this, I would definitely recommend the Lush 3. It is worth its money.
