Review of Liebe Seele Dark Secret Deluxe Curved Collar with Chain Leash and Lock

When I reviewed Liebe Seele’s bondage products a couple of months ago, I was blown away by their quality. So when they asked me if I wanted to review their new products, I was more than happy to oblige.
My luck didn’t stop there. This particular collar caught my eye early on. It looks so BDSMy 😉 The Dark Secret Deluxe Curved Collar looks like it came straight out of the Story of O series. The curved design, the big ring on the front and the shiny gold chain; they’re all perfect components of an ideal collar set. I quickly began unwrapping and testing when it arrived.

Packaging and Description

Unpacking a Liebe Seele product is an adventure in itself. The outside box is non-descript. The product itself comes in a black carton box. When you lift the lid, you are greeted with a thin paper wrapping, displaying the company logo once again. It feels so luxurious when your new sex toy comes in packaging like this, instead of a simple plastic bag many other companies use. Yes, looking at you AliExpress 🙁

Inside the box, the chain and lock are neatly wrapped in plastic bags, but the star of the show is, of course, the black leather collar itself. The product looks so amazing you just want to take it out of the box and try it on, but we’ll get to that in a moment.
I must say the collar looks as good in real life as it did on the product pictures, which also isn’t always the case. The padded collar feels and smells like real leather. The collar is 4 to 6 centimetres wide and 44 centimetres long. The golden ring on the front is really heavy and 3 centimetres in circumference. The collar weighs 272 grams. This also adds to the sturdy feeling of the product. I love the collar because no metal touches my skin when wearing it, which is a great feature for me as I have contact allergy.

Chain and Lock

If it had been just the collar, I would have been satisfied, but Liebe Seele also added a gold chain that can be attached and used as a leash. The chain handle is made of the same cow leather as the collar. The chain is a little over a meter long. My husband, the dominant, said he would have liked it if the chain were heavier, but I disagree. It’s heavy enough as it is 😉
The small heart-shaped lock is the perfect completion for this set. With that installed, you will know for sure your submissive is never going to take the band off without permission.

My Experience

Even though I’m not the greatest fan of wearing collars, I was looking forward to trying this one. I wasn’t disappointed. The collar fit snugly around my throat. I loved the view in the mirror. It looks so official and, like I said, BDSMy. My husband loved attaching and pulling the chain. He was so rough, my throat was actually sore for a couple of days, but that’s probably just our wild play and not the collar’s fault. It felt very submissive to wear a fancy collar like this, and because of its quality, it felt great.

Conclusion

Again, I was amazed by the quality of this Dark Secret Deluxe Curved Collar with Chain Leash and Lock by Liebe Seele. Yes, I’ve owned a decent collar of the same sort of quality for many years, but this Dark Secret one is so stylish I’m happy to replace my old one. Everything about the Liebe Seele Curved Collar is finished. It looks just right, feels durable, and contains all the components I could have wished for. Actually, I did mention a lock when I reviewed their product the last time, so maybe they listened to me. All kidding aside, this really is a high-quality product that you won’t regret buying. It’s the perfect Deluxe upgrade for any BDSM collection.
