So you’re looking for a vibrator that doesn’t just vibrate? Nowadays, many sex toys don’t only vibrate and use a different technique. This Clitoral Pump by Calexotics is does vibrate but has a surprising new technique. Read the review down below to find out all about it.
Unboxing Video
Calexotics is always a brand for new features. Regular vibrations aren’t everyone’s favourite, or maybe people just want to explore. I was intrigued when I got the opportunity to test this toy. The pictures definitely look attractive, and I am always open to exploring new toys and trying new settings. After all, when I finally got the chance to review a Pleasure Air technology vibrator, I was blown away by the results, pun intended. Let’s see what my experience was when I unwrapped this toy.
Packaging and Description
The Clitoral Pump by Calexotics comes delivered in a carton box. The outside of the box shows a picture of the product. Inside is the toy itself, a charging cable and two manuals. The one manual describes how to use the toy, while the other gives you more specific operating instructions.
The vibrator can be charged via USB. Even though the box says the actual size is shown upfront, I thought it would be larger. It doesn’t matter, really, but that was my assumption. The soft silicone layer feels pleasant to touch. The tip of the pump is very flexible so that it can be adjusted in whatever way necessary. The entire top half of the toy, above the silver line, can be taken off for cleaning and so you can place the pump in whatever way you like.
The toy is not whisper quiet, but a little louder than that. It not only pumps air but also vibrates in twelve different varieties. The vibrator remembers your last-used setting when you turn it back on.
The Clitoral Pump is literally a pump that sucks at your skin, unlike the Pleasure Air technology used by other brands. Those vibrators release small puffs of air that create a sensation of being sucked. I was surprised this pump actually pumps and vibrates at the same time.
The toy is 15 centimetres long, and the tip that touches your skin is 2 by 2,5 centimetres. There are tiny ticklers inside the tip.
My Experience
I had high expectations for this device, I really did, but unfortunately, they did not come true. When I placed the pump over my clitoris, it wasn’t the ecstatic feeling I was hoping for. It, instead, was disappointing. Together with the vibrations, it felt nice, but little more than that. I had hoped it would feel like being sucked, but it was more mildly irritating than pleasurable. Luckily I had another toy nearby because this wasn’t working for me.
Conclusion
The Intimate Pump™ Rechargeable Clitoral Pump by CalExotics is a well-designed product. It looks cute, it’s easy to clean and very simple to operate. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the toy for me. The sucking sensation didn’t do it for me. The vibrations were okay, but that’s not what this toy is for. Would I recommend it? Based on my experience, no, but it doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t work for you. Maybe my body just responds differently than yours, I don’t know. I truly love the design and that they released this product. I’m sorry it didn’t work for me, but maybe it will for you.
