Every now and then, a product is released which is genuinely innovative. Lora DiCarlo aims to develop toys that adjust well to the shape of the body. They don’t aim precisely at women, but as gender-neutral as possible, so it appeals to everyone. On social media, I repeatedly encountered advertisements by this brand. It’s definitely vibrant in the community. But what do I think?
Packaging and Description
The packaging is breathtakingly beautiful. I wondered if I could describe it that way, but yes, it truly is. When you’re talking about a cool unboxing experience, this definitely counts for the Onda. It’s a heavy carton box. When you manage to remove the outer sleeve, you fold the box open. Everything is well finished, and it feels luxurious. A small box containing the manual, charging cable, and a pouch for safekeeping is to the left side. On the right side is the vibrator itself, safely stored in a beautiful hard plastic casing.
Elaborate Manual
The manual is very elaborate. It’s translated into four languages. No Dutch, but fortunately, there’s an English version. Not only does the manual show how to use the vibrator, but there’s also a guide on how to find your G-spot if you’re using the toy for the first time. Usually, I don’t read the manuals, but I just discovered the vibrator shows you how much charge is in the battery. I’ve never before seen that in a sex toy!
Casing
The vibrator comes in its own case. It’s very easy to store the Onda cleanly and safely. You can also charge the toy while it’s in the casing, which is very cool. The vibrator itself is made of body-safe silicone with an ABS bottom. At the top of the shaft, you can feel where the beads are, which take care of the unique G-spot stimulation. It’s fascinating to watch them turn around.
The vibrator has ten vibrating speeds, ten intensities for the G-spot stroker, and you can choose between long or short movements over the G-spot.
The vibrations are whisper quiet, all other movements are pretty loud. Naturally, the toy is waterproof.
The form is quite delicate, something I don’t mind at all. You control the vibrations and the G-spot stroker with different buttons. This might get confusing during use, but it’s easy to get used to.
My Experience
Well, after the high praise in the previous paragraphs, you’d think I was utterly wowed by the experience. But alas, that wasn’t the case. I never got the toy to reach my G-spot in the right way. And if it hit something, it was soon too intense for me, also on the lowest setting. I loved the vibrations, no complaints there, but the special features weren’t for me.
Conclusion
So why such a raving review, while the Onda didn’t meet my expectations? Because you can see the toy was made with love and an eye for detail. They thought of everything. And to be really fair, I don’t think I’ve ever found my G-spot. And yes, I tried this vibrator multiple times, but it wasn’t for me. I suspect this is not the case for all women, especially when you read the positive reviews by other reviewers. When you follow the instructions in the manual, I’m sure you can find the right spot. If so, this vibrator will do everything it promises!
