Looks Great, Feels Great
Some implements are better bought in real life, rather than online. To me, whips are definitely in this category. Too often I’ve purchased paddles or whips online, and they were either too thin, too sharp, too light or just unpleasant altogether. So when my husband and I were at a fetish market, we were finally able to buy some decent equipment. Amongst other items, we found this double leather slapper. I had been curious about the design of this toy for a long time, wanting to know how it would feel. And when I discovered this particular model with a cartoon print on it, I knew it had to come home with me.
Packaging and Description
Since this slapper is a handmade product and we bought it on a market, there wasn’t much packaging to cover it. Is it really handmade? The answer is simple: Yes. We’ve talked with the people who constructed the item, and they told us they were in the business for a long time, making custom whips and cuffs for the fetish community. Apart from making great products, they were charming people too. It can be refreshing to meet people who are as invested in the BDSM community as I am.
Heavy Real Leather
The slapper we bought is made from real leather. The handle is massive and is made from metal. Altogether the slapper weighs an impressive 400 grams. The handle is 15 centimeters long where the straps are 48 cms long and 2,5 cm in width. This means the entire length of the product is 63 cms. The strap attached to the handle, which can be taken off with a hook, is 25 cms. There is no particular smell to this slapper, except for the smell of genuine leather. This is a welcome change to the light-chemical smell most Chinese products tend to have. No, this is an all-out Dutch whipping instrument.
Details Count
The slapper is very well-constructed with only the nametag being somewhat loose. Since that doesn’t matter for the use of the slapper, I don’t really mind. The two thick layers of leather are almost half a centimeter thick. When you press the straps together, they are nearly 2,5 cms thick. That makes this a hefty instrument for whipping.
The top layer of the leather straps is a thinner layer of a material with cartoon print and a sort of snake-leather structure. It doesn’t change the workings of the implement, but it does make it look cool between your other toys.
The endings of the two straps are cut off in a sharp edge, in a thin triangular fashion. This detail does leave an impact.
My Experience
This double leather slapper can be best compared to a belt when used for spankings. We’ve used my husband’s leather belt for many spankings. It’s quite broad, so the pain is not too sharp for me to endure. The impact of this slapper comes close to that feeling, but it’s a lot sharper. The material is narrower than the belt, but the points at the end definitely leave their marks. I was afraid it would make a lot more noise than the belt, but that wasn’t so bad. It does give an extra slap since it is double, but not in an annoying way. It can be tougher to handle since it’s so heavy, but luckily my Dominant is a strong man who can deal with that.
Conclusion
I am thrilled we bought this Double Leather Slapper Cartoon from Nelliesz. It’s a unique item, it looks great in our collection, and it’s a fun item to be spanked with. It feels sturdy, and I think it’s gonna stay one of our favorites for a long time. It’s of high quality, and it wasn’t even that expensive. To me, it’s definitely a recommend and it falls in my ‘Love’ category without any doubt. It’s not for beginners, but if you have any spanking experience and are looking to broaden your horizon, this is a must-buy.
